Lest we forget

Guilty verdicts were handed down this week to 21 terrorists for the Madrid train bombings - proof that Europe is vulnerable to home grown terrorism.

But this week our thoughts must be with those close to the 191 who died, and the survivors, for whom 11 March 2004 will be a day they never forget.

Proof perhaps of the saying that every family is but one step away from a tragedy.
